University College Dublin takes part in Formula Student

University College Dublin is one of the leading academic institutions in Ireland. Composed of 5 different colleges, the University counts 22,000 students including 2,000 international students among its population.

This subject area is of prime concern to the government as it will form a pillar of the future economic success of Ireland. Many colleges use the technology as part of final year student projects. These projects help develop students who can innovate while also rewarding teamwork and communication, skills that will stand to the students as part of the future workforce and engine of the economy.

University College Dublin are the only Irish 3rd level institution involved in the Formula Student Competition. This international competition selects the best Formula student designed car built by a 3rd level Institution and has over 100 entrants. Honeycomb Solutions has assisted the team to use the most modern technology to design a better car.

Dublin City University, Trinity College Dublin, and the Institutes of Technology at Athlone, Blanchardstown, Letterkenny, Galway/Mayo, Tallaght, Tralee and Cork also work with Honeycomb Solutions.
