PDM (Product Data Management) has been adopted and is now reasonably mature in many engineering and manufacturing organisations. With CAD data and associated documentation under control, many companies are now looking at widening the scope of their systems to positively impact other business and product development processes. Adopting a full PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) approach requires careful thought and planning to be a success.
PLM helps companies manage complex, cross-functional processes for better coordinating distributed teams to consistently and efficiently develop the best possible products. We have a long history of providing PLM solutions and we have helped teams of every size and in every industry manage all aspects of the product development lifecycle, from concept through service and retirement. We want to invite you to this session to share some of our experiences and best practices to help your transition.
We will be focussing on three key areas:
* Moving from Drawing to BOM Centric Product Development
* Streamlining Engineering Change
* Improving Cross-Company/Enterprise Collaboration
During the event, you will see and hear presentations from industry experts on industry best practice and these areas along with representatives from companies who have already made, or are on, this journey. Places are very limited, so click on the link below to register and secure your place.
